THE EDGE – WHAT CAN BUSINESS LEARN FROM ELITE SPORT?

15 September 2017 | The Savoy

WHAT COULD YOU & YOUR BUSINESS LEARN FROM THE WORLD OF ELITE SPORT?

WITH WARREN GATLAND OBE & SIR CLIVE WOODWARD!

An audience with one British & Irish Lions head coach is quite rare…Two coaches together on stage at the same time is simply unheard of!

FIRST UP…FRESH BACK FROM THE HISTORIC TOUR OF NZ – WARREN GATLAND OBE!

Unbeaten on both of his tours as Lions head coach, to put it into perspective the job Warren did this summer…Here are a few stats:

• In the third Test, the All Blacks failed to win at Eden Park for the first time since August 1994; they had won 38 in a row at the venue between those two ties!

• The Lions’ win in the second Test against the All Blacks was the first time New Zealand had lost on home soil since 2009.

• The second Test also saw the All Blacks fail to score a try, this after going 38 consecutive matches crossing the try line at least once.

This is a fantastic opportunity for yourself, your clients and your staff to hear and learn from one of the most successful coaches in world sport at the moment. Warren will focus on the challenges that he and the squad faced, plus how he went about bringing the four nations together as one!

JOINING WARREN ON STAGE…WORLD CUP WINNING COACH – SIR CLIVE WOODWARD!

As head coach, Sir Clive Woodward delivered one of England’s greatest sporting achievements since the 1966 Football World Cup by leading England to their 2003 World Cup Rugby victory!

Since then, Sir Clive has shared his knowledge and expertise with other sporting teams and events including the British & Irish Lions, Southampton FC, the British Olympic Association and the 2012 London Olympics.

Sir Clive has now developed a brand new presentation, bringing together this wealth of experience…Delivering it in a simple and concise message perfect for the world of business.

We have also now confirmed JUDY MURRAY…Not only the mother of GB’s greatest ever tennis player, but also a national coach and the former captain of the GB Fed Cup team!

Finally, event host Mark Durden-Smith will also open the discussion to the floor…Offering YOU the chance to ask your questions directly to this amazing panel of speakers.

So what could you learn? Team work, leadership, culture and the power of incremental improvement…These are just some of the topics that will be discussed at our most thought provoking and intimate event of the year at the fabulous Savoy Hotel.
