Captain Morgan has been instrumental in England’s rise in One Day cricket since their embarrassing exit from the 2015 World Cup. Morgan is credited as being the key man behind the reversal in fortunes which eventually lead to Eoin lifting the World Cup Trophy on the 14th July.
Jason Roy was one of England’s most destructive batsmen in the lead up to the Cricket World Cup and continued his fine form throughout, scoring 443 runs at an average of 63.28 and four additional fifties. Consistently one of the first names on the team sheet in the one-day format.
Jofra Archer exploded onto the English cricket scene with his rapid fast bowling as he was fast tracked into the England set up in time for the World Cup. Archer played in all games at the tournament and was the man Morgan entrusted to bowl the Super Over.
Vice Captain Buttler is one of the worlds most entertaining batsman’s with his aggressive hitting and extensive shot selection, a true “360-degree” cricketer. Jos famously was responsible for running out Martin Guptill in the last ball of the Super Over.
