This year’s Football’s Coming Home Lunch was a big, football‑mad day out on the opening day of the 2026 World Cup. Guests arrived to summer drinks and live music playing terrace favourites, before enjoying a three‑course lunch and lively chat about whether England were “finally” going to do it this time!
MBN packed the room with England legends Harry Redknapp, Tony Adams, Jimmy Bullard, John Barnes and Teddy Sheringham - all in fine form as they shared memories from past World Cups and looked ahead to England's chances in this year's tournament. (It's Coming Home)!
By the end of the afternoon, guests had networks expanded, clients thoroughly entertained, and camera rolls full of selfies with heroes they’d grown up watching. For many, it felt less like a corporate lunch and more like the perfect way to launch a summer of football – with business quietly getting done in the background.
